2024 KSIEC Spring Meeting

Members of the M3 Group participated in the 2024 Spring Meeting of the Korean Society of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry, held at BEXCO in Busan. The conference brought together researchers and practitioners to share recent advances in industrial and engineering chemistry.

During the meeting, Jingyeong presented a poster entitled “Analysis of Liquid Droplet Formation and Movement in a Rotating Packed Bed (RPB) Using 3D CFD Simulations.” The study examined the mechanisms of droplet generation, breakup, and transport under high centrifugal fields, providing detailed insight into multiphase flow behaviour and hydrodynamic characteristics within rotating packed bed systems.

The conference offered a meaningful platform for presenting research findings and engaging in academic exchange with the broader chemical engineering community.
