2026 KIChE Fall Meeting

Members of the M3 Group participated in the 2026 KIChE Fall Meeting and International Symposium, held from October 6 to 8 at BEXCO in Busan, South Korea. The conference brought together researchers and professionals to share recent research findings, discuss advances in chemical engineering, and promote academic exchange and collaboration.

During the meeting, Sun-young presented a entitled “Ammonia recovery from wastewater by direct contact membrane distillation: global sensitivity analysis, scale-up and optimization” In addition, Dongkyu presented a oral presentation entitled "Data-driven Hybrid Modeling to Capture Membrane Performance Degradation in Reverse Osmosis”.

Jiun presented a poster presentation entitled "Data-Driven Soft Sensor for Lactic Acid Concentration Estimation in Bipolar Membrane Electrodialysis”.

Dong-Gi Lee presented a poster entitled “Bayesian Optimisation-Guided Design of Rolling Circle Amplification”.

Also, Jingyeong presented a poster entitled “Impact of Geometric Parameters of Virtual Aorta on Oxygen Delivery During VA-ECMO Support.”

It was a valuable and enriching experience for all M3 Group members, providing an opportunity to exchange ideas, gain new insights, and spend meaningful time together!
