At the Korean Society of Clean Technology Autumn Conference 2026 (September 16–18, Venezia Hotel & Resort, Yeosu), Professor Boram Gu from M3 Group delivered an invited lecture entitled “Mechanistic Modelling and Global Sensitivity Analysis for Sustainable Resource Recovery: Application to Bipolar Membrane Electrodialysis for Lactic Acid Recovery.”

During the conference, Sunyoung delivered a presentation entitled “Comparative Energy and Techno-Economic Assessment of Photothermal DCMD and SGMD with Thermal Energy Integration.”
Also, Jingyeong presented a poster entitled “Design Optimisation of Baffle Geometry for Mitigating Acceleration-Induced Boil-Off Gas in Liquid Hydrogen Tankers.” The study used 3D CFD and response surface methodology to investigate the effects of baffle geometry, acceleration, and maximum speed on boil-off gas generation during liquid hydrogen transport.
In addition, Jiun presented a poster presentation entitled "Model-Based Evaluation of Pulsed Operation in Continuous Bipolar Membrane Electrodialysis”.
Furthermore, Dongkyu presented a poster presentation entitled "Analysis of droplet motion and interfacial area in rotating packed beds under varying rotational speed and packing densities based on CFD data"
Finally, Dong-Gi presented a poster entitled “Numerical Modelling of an Electrified Washcoat Reactor for CO2 Conversion.” The study developed a computational modelling framework to investigate the coupled flow, electrical, and thermal behaviour of an electrified washcoat reactor. This work specifically focused on analysing Joule-heating characteristics and their effects on CO2 conversion performance.
